The coastal steamer M/S Richard With is a passenger ship built in 1993 and owned by the Hurtigruten Group. The ship is named after captain Richard With, who founded the Hurtigruten company in 1893. The ship is 122 m long and sails along the Norwegian coast between Bergen and Kirkenes, a round trip that takes 11 days. Thus, primarely fjord and coastal waters are covered by the ship measurements. The ship is equipped with a suite of instruments, including an automatic pCO2 measuring system, and sensors for sea surface temperature, salinity, and oxygen. M/S Richard With joined ICOS in 2023.
